Customer Discovery
Workshop by Tristan Kromer. Brought to you by StartLabs.
Belgrade, REX, February 27th 2014.

Event #1 - Workshop
Feb 27, 2014, 10am - 4pm

"No business plan survives first contact with the customer." -Steve Blank

You’re delusional. And that’s not a bad thing.

You’re an entrepreneur and you have to dream big, push boundaries, and change the world.

But at the end of the day, a customer has to pay for your product or you won’t have a business. Your success depends on those customers, who don’t always do what you expect.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how talking to customers can save you months of development time and heartbreak. You’ll learn where to find customers fast and get practical experience interviewing customers. Most importantly, you’ll learn when to listen to your customers and when they’re lying to you.

After this workshop you will:

  • Have a list of places to find your early adopters
  • Have customer persona representing your early adopter hypothesis
  • Understand the difference between customer discovery and a sales pitch
  • Be ready to get out of the building
